Once the system elements have been created in the system plan, the calculation method for the individual system elements is selected and filled with the appropriate parameters. This is done in the data sheet for the respective system element.
The determination of the characteristics and parameters is very different. Some are known (e.g. pipe diameter of a circular channel), others require extensive preliminary work in a GIS (e.g. the subdivision of a subcatchment area using soil maps, land use maps and the gradient determined from the DEM into hydrologically similarly reacting areas, the elementary areas).
Auch wenn Parameter nicht bekannt sind und der Gegenstand einer Kalibrierung sein sollen, müssen diese mit einer ersten Schätzung als Start für die Kalibrierung gefüllt werden.
