In Talsim-NG ist das Niederschlag-Abfluss-Modell in das Systemelement [[Special:MyLanguage/Einzugsgebiet|Einzugsgebiet]] integriert. Grundsätzlich können alle wesentlichen physikalischen Prozesse der Wasserspeicherung und -bewegung innerhalb des Einzugsgebebiet abgebildet werden (Verdunstung, Schneeakkumulation und -schmelze, Bodenfeuchte, usw.).&lt;br /&gt;
Verschiedene Berechnungsansätze sind implementiert und ermöglichen es, je nach gegebener Fragestellung und Datenlage, auszuwählen aus einfachen, stark abstrahierten Ansätzen (z.B.
