A river basin model is constructed with Talsim-NG according to the modular principle. All relevant objects and processes of the [[Special:MyLanguage/Begriffsdefinitionen#Wasserwirtschaftliches System, Systembelastung, Systemelement|water management system]] are represented by system elements. These can be linked together like building blocks to represent the entire system with its interactions.
