For each (temporal) supporting point values for x and y are entered. If the system state value before the transformation is smaller than the x-value, it is set to zero. If it is equal to or bigger than the x-value, it is transformed to the y-value. This process allocates a respective supporting point to every current date / time stamp, which is then used for the transformation.
