What the System Outlet does

Contents Prev Top Next More

SystemOutletThe System Outlet represents the outlet of the model and must be the last system element in the flow logic. It accepts only one element as its inflow and it has no outlet, i.e. no calculations are performed within the element. There must be exactly one system outlet per model. If there are actually several outlets from the modeled system, it is useful to add a fictitious Transport Reach immediately before the System Outlet (e.g. with the key "SEND"), which in turn can accommodate several inflows. Alternatively, Consumers can also act as a sink.
