Patterns are components in Talsim used to represent recurring input data over time. They are designed to model regular, repeating influences such as water demands or evaporation rates. Talsim supports three types of Patterns based on their recurrence interval:
•Annual Patterns
oFixed Annual Pattern (One input value per month of the year)
oFlexible Annual Pattern (Input values at user-defined dates of a year)
•Weekly Patterns: (One input value per day of the week)
•Daily Patterns: (One input value per hour of the day)
Patterns are Shared Components, meaning the same Pattern can be assigned to multiple System Elements or Evaporation Components, ensuring consistent input across the model.
Patterns are in the Scenario Tree in the Shared Components Folder of the active Scenario
